Hi everyone! Today I am here to show you my weekly spreads for June, which will hopefully give you some fresh ideas if you’re looking for new layouts in your bullet journal! Most of these layouts will be in my strawberries theme for this month. If you missed my monthly setup (including a free printable cover page illustration), check it out here first. I explained more in depth how to draw the strawberries I’ll be using here.
For my first layout, I wanted to recreate one of my favorite spreads from last month because it worked well for me, and it seemed to be popular with all of you as well! It’s really nice how the same weekly layout can look completely different depending on your theme. :) If you want to see this layout in my bubble tea theme from last month, check it out here.
I really love how this layout leaves lots of space for additional boxes for notes and to-do lists. Most of my layouts will have 2 extra boxes, but this one has three!
For my second layout, I wanted to create an illustration down the center of the spread instead of on the outside edges. I also decided to go with a more whimsical style, with the strawberries and flowers free floating instead of connected like in my past illustrations.
I also omitted any illustrations of the leaves because these are more complicated and take more time, so this will be a quicker and easier layout!
The next layout features drawings strawberries that have the date drawn inside of them. I drew 7 different berries/clusters - some with one large berry, some with two in a cluster, and some with a flower. It’s fun to play around with the different variations here, and I liked the option of putting one number of the date in each of the double berry clusters!
I really like how bold and bright this spread is with the red borders, and there is plenty of space for notes in each box!
I always like to include one quick and easy spread each month, just in case you’re too busy to draw a full on illustration. One of my favorite ways to do this is with washi tape. It’s such a fast way to add color and decoration to a page. And anyway, my collection is getting out of hand so any excuse to use some up is always good ;)
This quick spread is also theme-neutral so you can use it no matter what month/theme you have! I like to use these spreads as my last layout each month, because by the end of the month, you might be tired of the theme you’ve been drawing and using all month anyway ;)
So those are my weekly layouts this month! Hope you were inspired by something here today, and thanks so much for dropping by! Make sure to watch my video if you want to see a full tutorial of these spreads:
