Hello, and happy Monday! Well... as happy as a Monday can be anyway! One thing I know that will make the start of this week go easier... coffee, of course!!
Almost everyone I know loves coffee - and if not coffee, then tea - so it's always great to have a go-to coffee stamp set (like Coffee Town, which I used on this card) to make cards for coffee lovers - especially so that you can place a coffee gift card inside of the card as a little surprise present!
I created this really fun little card that has a gift card pocket inside. To create this pocket, I cut a piece of cardstock down to 4.25"x11.25" and scored it at the 3.75" and 7.5" marks - it should look like a tri-fold brochure. Then on the inside flap, I cut a diagonal pocket and decorated it with washi. Any washi works, but of course food themed washi is the best for this coffee card! I used a tape from the Juicy Washi set.
On the front of the card, I heat embossed my sentiment in white, and then inked over it with Distress Inks. I created some water splatters for a fun texture. I added a colored and stamped image, and then finished it off with some cute heart sequins.
Thanks for stopping by today, and hope you'll be back soon!
