Video: Tone on Tone Background Stamping

Hey everyone! For today's video, I show you how to create a really fun tone on tone stamped background and also a fun trick with Copic coloring.

The great thing with this DIY background look is that you can create it using ANY small stamp that you might have in your stamp sets! Think hearts, flowers, geometric shapes - or like I used in my card, bubbles!

For my card, I used a yellow ink on yellow cardstock, but if you don't have many ink colors, you can always go with the option of using Versamark ink to create a watermarked effect (this works best on dark cardstocks). It's a great way to stretch your inks if you don't have many colors!

I also created a really fun look and texture on the jellyfish I colored by using the Copic Colorless Blender after I'd finished coloring. This created those bleached areas you see that make my jellyfish look spotted! Cool, don't you think? This is an easy way to mix up your colored images and make them more unique! I also covered the jellyfish with some Wink of Stella to give it some shimmer at the end.

Anyway, here's the video to see how I did all of that!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope to see you again soon!
