Stencil Series #7: Modeling Paste + Embossing Powder

Hey everyone! I'm continuing the Stencil Series today with a more complicated and involved technique... and I'm just warning you now, it does get a bit messy ;) But messy is good sometimes, right (if not all the time)??

This technique uses modeling paste with embossing powder, which gives more texture and dimension than using embossing powder on top of Versamark.

The stencil I ended up using for the card is cut from a design I found in the Silhouette America store (Lantern Double Daisies #51119).

Aren't those flowers from the building stamp set so beautiful? Seriously my favorite part of the video is when I have hundreds of stamped die cut flowers strewn all over my desk. Is there anything more gorgeous than that??

As I mentioned in the video, I made two backgrounds with this technique at the same time - if you have all the supplies out, you might as well make the most of it! So the second one I made uses my Chevron stencil and I put together a quick card with this extra background.

Bonus cards are always a good thing!

Hope you enjoyed the tutorial - I think I'll show one more stencil technique before I finish up this series, so stay tuned for the final one!! :)
