Hello hello! After quite a break from blogging, I have something fun to share with you today: another process video showing you how to make this cute, fun, wintery holiday card!
The inspiration and spotlight for this card is a new mini stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Winter Penguin - at just $4 for these adorable images that you can make a whole scene out of, it's a steal! Go ahead and watch the video to see how I got started on the card :)
Soooo, to pick off where my memory card filled up haha... ;) I finished coloring my penguin with some basic Copic coloring - basically coloring with two shades of each color to add a tiny bit of shading. You can use pretty much any colors you want or have, since the only colorful parts are his clothes! Then I cut him out and glued him onto that nice background I made earlier.
Once that was all set, I simply adhered the top part of the cart with the circles, and then adhered the sentiment strip with foam squares. As a finishing touch, I added some sequins with a strong liquid adhesive. I used some small silver sequins and also some large moonshine sequins, which I loooove because they match any and every project - you can even see in this photo that they take on some of the colors of the papers under them! There's even a new pack of moonshine sequins that has assorted sizes... I totally want it, haha ;)
Other supplies I used that I mentioned in the video:
I'll also be linking this up to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - this week, anything goes! Go link up any projects you make - maybe even one where you try out this snow technique!! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope October has been treating you well :D
